Should I see a Physiotherapist or go for a sports massage?
We would always advise with any pain as a first instance to always see a Physiotherapist for the first initial session. As we can not only provide relief through expert hands on treatment but also give you a reason behind why you have tightness and pain, so you don’t need to rely on sports massages for pain relief but to have a massage only if you want.
Should I seek NHS or private physiotherapy?
NHS generally have a long waiting list and the success to getting rid of you pain is generally correlated with how soon you seek professional support. We are also not restricted by time constraints, therefore we can offer a more tailored approach to your pain and provide professional hands-on therapy. We also have evenings and weekend appointments available, to make healthcare easily accessible.
How many treatment sessions will I need?
This can completely vary depending on factors such as how long you have had pain for, where it is located and what your end goal is. It may be you only need 1-2 sessions or in some more complex cases 4-6. We can assure you we will be very transparent and honest regarding what we advise is the best route forward for you.
